Call it an ‘unusual happening.’ The shooting of Vijay Devarakonda’s upcoming film VD 12 has come to a grinding halt recently. The shooting has been progressing near Kothamangalam in Kerala.

The makers are shooting scenes with two elephants near the Bhoothathankettu forest but unfortunately both the elephants confronted each other wreaking havoc on the film sets. Two Elephants Confront On Film Sets Director Gowtam Tinnanuri wanted to shoot a few scenes on the cast with elephants. The film unit has reportedly got two elephants and started filming for the scenes at Kothamangalam.

While shooting the scenes with elephants, unfortunately the two elephants suddenly got annoyed and started to confront each other on the sets. A worried cast and crew tried to control the elephants, but their efforts went in vain. While one elephant was injured the other one ran away deep into the forests.

VD 12 Shooting Temporarily Halted “A source close to the unit reveals that the film unit immediately alerted the forest officials on the development. They swung into action and eventually located the elephant. The film’s shooting was temporarily halted, and the makers wanted to resume work once things settled down.

” VD 12 is a spy thriller that has wrapped up nearly 70 per cent of the shooting. The film which has Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead is slated for release on March 28, 2025. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music.
