Pedro joined the show in 2017 after winning a listener contest for the 'World's Best Job'. In 2020, he was promoted to senior producer before becoming executive producer in January last year.

He has now stepped down from the role at KIIS FM to focus on becoming a dad after welcoming his newborn daughter Lucia with his wife Patty last week. 'It's been an amazing ride, and I'm so grateful to Kyle, Jackie, and the entire team for the opportunities I've had,' he said in a statement. 'As much as I love the show, my new role as a dad is my top priority, and I'm excited to spend more time with my family.
