Prayagraj: A huge area of land at Arail (Naini), spanning around 12 acres, will be converted into Shivalaya Park . This proposed park will be constructed near the Triveni Pushp and will be ready before Maha Kumbh . With an estimated cost of Rs 25 crore, the park will showcase a harmonious blend of art , culture, and civilisation of various states and union territories across the nation.

The chief engineer of the Municipal Corporation, Satish Kumar, revealed that the park’s design is ingeniously crafted to mirror the map of India. A captivating lake, approximately one metre in width, will encircle the park, The lake’s water will be sourced from the river Ganga and Yamuna. Each state’s representation will be enhanced by the presence of a stall offering its renowned culinary delights, alongside the iconic structures and religious sites associated with that particular region.

The park will be adorned with an array of religious and medicinal plants, thoughtfully curated and distributed across approximately 30 sectors. In another important development, the Prayagraj Mela administration is set to install a large statue of Lord Krishna at Jodha Dwar at the Allahabad Fort. The area will also be developed into Jodha Vatika by Kumbh Mela officials, with the budget for these works drawn from the Prayagraj Smart City Project.
