Shiksha Arora has voiced her disapproval of arranged marriages, a tradition that remains prevalent in her Indian culture. The former KBC news anchor emphasized the importance of truly getting to know someone before committing to a lifelong partnership. Let me tell you, living with a man is not easy.” Reflecting on her own experiences, Shiksha shared that her mother was married off at just 18 after only a day of acquaintance with Shiksha’s father.

She recounted, “My mum and dad were in an arranged marriage, not a love marriage. My dad visited my mum under the pretense of just hanging out. Afterward, she was asked for her opinion, and when she said he was ‘cool,’ she was told, ‘I think you’re going to marry him.
