After making heads turn with a streak of critically acclaimed performances in Munjya, Maharaj and Vedaa, Sharvari Wagh is now shooting for one of the most highly anticipated projects, Alpha. Co-starring Alia Bhatt, the big-budget action spectacle – which is a part of the YRF spy universe – will see the two of them playing super-agents. Interestingly, Sharvari is the youngest actor to be part of the universe, which has earlier featured the likes of superstars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone.

Elated to have bagged this feat, Sharvari, in an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, says, “It’s a big pinch-me moment. It’s such a big universe! It’s an IP that has been loved in India and across the world. So, to be part of something that’s already so huge feels incredible.

I’m super excited and truly grateful to be a part of it, firstly because the film stands for what it does and secondly, the fact that I get to work with Alia. That’s a big dream come true." But along with intense exhilaration comes a bit of nervousness, admits Sharvari.

And she’s taking every bit of the experience to her stride. “To be the youngest actor to shoulder a project of a franchise that has earlier been shouldered by the biggest superstars like Shah Rukh sir, Salman sir and Hrithik sir and other so many big names is humbling, motivating and a little bit of nerve-wrecking too," states Sharvari. This is also the first time that she’s.
