Shaquille O'Neal, the NBA legend, once splashed out on a massive mansion in Florida but confessed he barely used it, sticking to just two rooms. The basketball superstar, who was snapped up as the No. 1 pick in the 1992 draft by the Orlando Magic and later played for the Miami Heat, seemed to love Florida life so much that he bought a sprawling 76,000-square-foot home in Windermere.

Shaq bagged the property back in 1993 for a cool $3.95 million, and after several years on the market, it finally sold in October 2021 for $11m, despite an initial asking price of $28m in 2018. During a 2018 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, O'Neal got candid about his former Orlando pad, revealing to Ellen that he only ever used the kitchen and bedroom.

"The kitchen because I like to eat, and the bedroom because I like to sleep," he quipped. When Ellen probed about other areas like the living room or den, Shaq simply shook his head, saying: "No, I never go to the theater, never go to the gym," leaving some of the most luxurious parts of his abode untouched. DeGeneres probed O'Neal about the number of bathrooms in his mansion, to which he responded, "I think 15" - setting DeGeneres up for a joke: "You know you're supposed to flush the toilets and run the water once a week so it doesn't smell.

" O'Neal admitted he wasn't aware of this, leading the host to quip that his housekeeper should have taken care of what the NBA icon clearly forgot to do. O'Neal responded with a grin: "I don't have a ho.
