Shah Rukh Khan recently attended the Global Freight Summit in Delhi and spoke about how his early days in Mumbai humbled him as an actor. SRK said that when he first started his journey in Bollywood, he thought he was the best actor but got really conscious and ran back to Delhi when he saw actors better than him. He said, "I thought I am the best actor when I came on the set.

I was overconfident and then I realised, everyone on set were acting better than me. I took the first flight back to Delhi and I remember, there used to be an international flight that used to be 25% cheaper as I couldn’t afford the other one. I rushed to the airport, bought the ticket and wanted to go home because I realised, I am such a bad actor.

" A post shared by Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) He further said, "I saw the rushes, I looked completely wrong. If you’ve not been in the real world, you think you’re the best. Every time I’m learning more, I am realizing how bad I am.

That’s what surprises me about acting. Sometimes I see an old film and think how could I not do it better?" Meanwhile, on the work front, after giving 3 back-to-back hits in 2023 (Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki), Khan took a break in 2024 and is soon going to make a comeback. Earlier this year, SRK confirmed that he will be starring in King which will also reportedly star his daughter Suhana Khan, marking her big screen debut.
