Shah Rukh Khan was recently honoured at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. He was bestowed with the prestigious Pardo Alla Carriera Award for his immense contributions to cinema. SRK graced the event to receive the honour.
The superstar also spilled an exciting detail about his much anticipated upcoming film ‘ King ’. While conversing with the audience in a live session, SRK confirmed that he is working with Sujoy Ghosh for their upcoming film ‘King’. The superstar also revealed that the film is high on action, and hence he will be undergoing some weight loss for the role.
“Action is difficult, you have to practice it, learn it and there are doubles doing some of the dangerous stunts. I have some wonderful guys. But 80 percent you have to finally do it yourself if you have to sell it truthfully.
Otherwise, it doesn’t look right,” Shah Rukh Khan said, On a humorous note, SRK also expressed that though the action might look cool on screen, it is far from glamorous. “The next film I’m doing, King, I have to start working on my film King. Have to lose some weight, and stretch a little so my groin doesn’t get caught while doing action.
It is painful. It’s the worst thing to see me on sets after action because I look really cool in the film but I’m all tied up and suddenly you see people and send flying kisses,” he said.
