Democratic nominee Kamala Harris triggered her GOP rival Donald Trump during their presidential debate with her line about people leaving his rallies early. The former president on Tuesday railed against the notion during a town hall event with Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R).

On Wednesday, “Late Night” comedian Seth Meyers mocked how the “soaring message” from Trump that “people don’t leave his rallies” was “unfortunately lost on the people who left that exact rally.” Meyers aired footage of Trump supporters doing just that to prove his point. “Trump’s so insane he’s getting fact-checked by his own supporters in real time,” he joked.
