Global cosmetics giant will be opening its first ever store later this year. As part of its latest UK expansion, the beauty chain will open a branch at this winter. The French multi-national retailer, which is hugely popular in the US, is famous for its wide selection of wellbeing and beauty products from leading international brands.

At the new Kent store, shoppers will be able to peruse makeup, fragrances, haircare and skincare products. By the time it opens, the shop will be the seventh of its kind to open since Sephora arrived in the UK in 2022. Branches already operate at London’s Westfield White City and Westfield Stratford, as well as Manchester's Trafford Centre.

Other Sephora stores soon to be opening this year will be in Newcastle's Eldon Square, Gateshead's Metrocentre near Newcastle, and Birmingham's Bullring. Sarah Boyd, Sephora UK's managing director, said: “We are thrilled to continue this momentum of our rapid growth by opening Sephora stores in key shopping destinations such as the iconic Bluewater Shopping Centre. “We have loved seeing the enthusiasm and appetite from our customers around the UK of where they would like to us to show up, inspiring us to roll out more of our ‘beauty playgrounds’ and unparalleled shopping experiences to some of the nation’s most beloved retail destinations such as Bluewater.
