: A 32-year-old security guard, Raga Jyothi, was allegedly run over by a lorry on Saturday morning, Medchal police said. Police said Jyothi, a Manthani native, was crossing the road when the lorry hit her. A case was registered against the driver and further investigation is underway.

: An IIT student and a tech industry worker were reportedly arrested by the excise special task force for selling ganja at hostels in SR Nagar. The task force has reportedly identified 22 peddlers, suppliers and consumers. The accused were identified as K.
