Lafayette police said a second teen boy has been arrested for a weekend shooting that injured a woman. Investigators said both boys are 16 years old. They said one of the teens was booked into Lafayette Detention Home on one count of felony aggravated battery by shooting and one count of illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile.

The second teen is facing the same charges but was released to a custodian, p[olice said. Authorities said the shooting happened in the 800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive around 4 a.

m. Saturday. The responding officers found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound in the chest.

She was taken to a hospital and is listed in stable condition..
