Login or signup to continue reading The hospitality company Oscars Group is advertising for a general manager for the new Crowne Plaza hotel , which will contain "luxury" amenities including 181 rooms and serviced apartments, function and conference facilities, meeting and event spaces, and a resort-style pool. There will also be a cafe, restaurant and bar.

The job ad for the manager role says the successful candidate will need to "deliver a premium customer experience" while managing all financial aspects of the hotel. They will also have to "set and maintain a level of service and quality that consistently exceeds the expectations of our guests". Oscars Group is looking for someone with previous experience in senior leadership positions in a hotel.

The Crowne Plaza is described by developers Frasers Property and Shellharbour City Council as a "major part of the vision" of the Waterfront project. Forty-two luxury apartments will sit atop the hotel . In 2025, the Waterfront project is also due to see the completion of the community centre, library and visitors centre , the town centre playground, and the boatyard.
