One of Scotland ’s most beloved country estates just tacked on a sporty upgrade. The iconic Gleneagles Hotel , which sits on a sprawling 850 acres in the heart of Perthshire, has been a well-known golfer’s paradise since it opened in June 1924. And now, beyond the fairways, the idyllic U.

K. resort recently unveiled a new sporting club equipped with everything from state-of-the-art equestrian facilities to indoor padel tennis courts that build upon its current outdoor offerings. Inside, you’ll find a super chic midcentury-style lounge and a boutique filled with merch that bears the new sporting club logo.

Think everything from caps to water bottles to even towels. The estate , which already featured five outdoor tennis courts, will now offer indoor courts so you can compete and practice year-round. The sporting club offers up two hard-surfaced tennis courts and three for padel—two doubles and a single—all decked out with Mondo Supercourt XN artificial turf.

After your match, feel free to hit the courtside members’ lounge. The space channels the look and feel of classic vintage tennis clubs with cabana stripes and a crisp white aesthetic. Branching out from its current golf, archery, and fishing experiences, Gleneagles has also introduced a new rock wall with over 40 routes for climbing and bouldering enthusiasts.

The wall itself measures a whopping 22 feet high and 88 feet long. Of course, the estate is renowned for its horse-riding facilities and on-site equestria.
