Melissa Joan Hart starred in one of the most successful children’s shows in the 1990s. It’s not often than an actor lands two iconic roles so early in their career. But by the time she had turned 20, the blonde bombshell had already starred in two beloved children’s shows that are still loved to this day.

First, the TV star, now 48, portrayed the lead role in the Nickelodeon special Clarissa Explains It All, which ran from 1991 to 1994. But arguably her most career-defining role was when dazzled viewers in the titular role on Sabrina the Teenage Witch back in 1996. After initially wowing viewers all over the world as the young witch from the Archie Comics in the 1996 movie, the TV favourite continued to get up to mischief on the long-running show which lasted for seven series.

More than 28 years later, the actor has lifted the lid on some of her wild days on the beloved TV show. Three years after the show hit the airwaves, Melissa found herself enveloped into the world of showbiz. The actress quickly made friends with some of the biggest musicians and actors in the 90s.

In her 2013 memoir Melissa Explains It All: Tales from My Abnormally Normal Life, the star wrote about her wild parties with some of the biggest names in showbiz. The doting mum recalled the time she took ecstasy at a party at the Playboy Mansion back in 1999. She explained how she made out with a girl in the limo ride home and did a Maxim photoshoot while still high.
