The agreement, formalized by Mr. Wail Basaffar, Assistant Vice President of KSA Sales at Saudia, and Mr.

Waleed Muath, CEO of AlUla Club Company, promises tailored discounts and favorable rates on both local and international journeys via Saudia, aiming to elevate the travel experience for AlUla Club Company’s employees. This collaboration continues Saudia’s commitment to promoting the heritage and tourism of Al-Ula, marked by several notable initiatives. The airline has been instrumental in boosting Al-Ula’s visibility through high-profile events and innovative offerings.

Highlights of this partnership include the integration of Alula FM into Saudia’s in-flight entertainment options—the first radio station to achieve this feat. Moreover, the airline has been a key sponsor of the annual AlUla Skies Festival in the past two years, showcasing activities like hot air ballooning and drone shows that draw more visitors to the area. In 2022, Saudia also supported the Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo, enhancing the cultural allure of Al Ula.

Another pioneering achievement was the 2021 “Museum in the Sky,” an airborne exhibition that displayed Al-Ula’s archaeological wonders. Additionally, Saudia launched seasonal flights to AlUla in 2019, further demo.
