On September 24th, Saudi Arabia’s national tourism brand, ‘Saudi: Welcome to Arabia’, rolled out the lavender carpet for India with the grand launch of its first-ever immersive consumer event, ‘ Spectacular Saudi ’. Hosted at the R2 Ground in BKC, the eight-day extravaganza runs till October 2nd and promises the visitors a glimpse into the vibrant culture, traditional crafts, and mouth-watering cuisine that define Saudi.
The opening ceremony was graced by Saudi delegates and a constellation of Bollywood stars including Shraddha Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Bhumi Pednekar, Shilpa Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu, Sonakshi Sinha, Suniel Shetty, Aditya Roy Kapur, Arjun Kapoor, alongside sports legends like Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu Sania Mirza and Olympians like Manu Bhaker, Swapnil Kusale, etc. Adding to the grandeur were renowned filmmakers such as Farah Khan and Guneet Monga, celebrated designers like Gaurav Gupta, JJ Valaya, and Raghavendra Rathore, along with business tycoons, royalties, and industrialists including Yash Birla, Suketu Shah, Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar making ‘Spectacular Saudi’ a truly star-studded affair welcoming Indians with open arms.
