Thursday, August 29, 2024 Saudia, Saudi Arabia’s national airline, has once again led the international rankings for punctuality, as reported by the independent aviation data provider, Cirium, for July 2024. The airline has recorded impressive on-time arrival and departure rates of 88.12% and 88.

15% respectively, managing 16,503 flights across its extensive network spanning four continents and over 100 destinations. Looking ahead, Saudia plans to enhance its fleet with 103 new aircraft. This expansion is part of its broader strategy to increase its seating capacity significantly, extend its reach to additional global destinations, and support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by connecting the Kingdom with the world.

Since 2012, Saudia has been a member of the SkyTeam alliance, marking it as the first Persian Gulf carrier to join a major global airline alliance. Additionally, it holds a foundational role in the Arab Air Carriers’ Organization. The airline also provides charter services, primarily during the Ramadan and Hajj seasons, across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.
