LYNDON CENTER — Lyndon quarterback Ethan Lussier had himself a record-setting day through the air and the Vikings reclaimed custody of the coveted barrel following a 66-20 shellacking of visiting North Country during the 17th playing of the Barrel Bowl rivalry football game at Robert K. Lewis Field on Saturday. Lussier tossed seven passing touchdowns in the lopsided victory, breaking a trio of his own LI records in the process.

The seven total TDs and seven passing TDs in a single game are both new Viking records. He also eclipsed the single-season passing touchdown record of 12 which he broke last season after standing since 1950. Javascript is required for you to be able to read premium content.
