Friday, November 29, 2024 SAS boosts Scandinavian connectivity with a new direct Copenhagen-Seoul route, strengthening ties between Europe and South Korea for seamless travel. SAS is enhancing its global network by launching a new non-stop service between Copenhagen and Seoul, beginning September 12, 2025. This marks the first-ever direct connection between Scandinavia and South Korea.

The new route will operate four times a week in the summer and three times a week during the winter season. This new service will link Scandinavia to one of Asia’s major transportation hubs, further expanding SAS’s network and positioning Copenhagen as a key international gateway. It will also meet the rising demand for travel from South Korea to Scandinavia, offering seamless connections to other European destinations via SAS’ extensive network.

With the addition of Seattle in May 2025, SAS will offer a total of 14 intercontinental routes from Copenhagen, connecting passengers to over 100 European cities. This expansion highlights SAS’ strategic vision of transforming Copenhagen into a leading global hub, strengthening its connections between Scandinavia and the wider world. The new route will feature evening departures, ensuring optimal European connectivity and allowing travelers to make the most of their time at their destination.
