Many believe that celebrities today, especially those who come from privileged and wealthy backgrounds with limited exposure to the real world, are trying desperately to appear relatable to the common people. Most people in India cannot afford luxury brands, something celebrities flaunt way too often. Therefore, Sara’s quote was assumed to be an attempt to appear relatable to the general public by pushing forward a version of the granddaughter of the Nawab of Pataudi that’s more grounded.
