Fulham has secured the transfer of Norwegian international Sander Berge from Burnley in a deal valued at £25 million. Berge, 26, has signed a five-year contract with Fulham, with an option for the club to extend it by an additional year. The transfer includes an initial payment of £20 million, with an extra £5 million in potential add-ons.

Before his move to Burnley in 2023, Berge played for Sheffield United. Following Burnley’s relegation to the Championship, Berge was named the club’s Player of the Year. Expressing his excitement about the move, Berge said, “It feels amazing.

The last few weeks have been a bit uncertain, but now I’m here, wearing the shirt in this beautiful stadium, and it feels great knowing my future is here.” This transfer marks Fulham’s fourth signing of the transfer window, following the arrivals of Emile Smith Rowe, Jorge Cuenca, and Ryan Sessegnon. Despite making 37 appearances for Burnley last season, Berge has not featured in the club’s Championship games this term.

He also has 46 caps for the Norwegian national team and could make his Premier League debut for Fulham when they face Leicester City on August 24..
