Rylan Clark has admitted he had a “frightful” experience seeing his teeth on the big screen. The Radio 2 star this week launched his Paramount TV show Dating Naked with an exclusive cinema screening. It has been described as “ Love Island without bikinis”.

Dating Naked sees 10 singletons looking for a holiday romance without clothes on. During their time on the show, they will see new singles arrive attempting to throw a spanner in the works and break up couples. Rylan, 35, held the launch screening for the show this week ahead of its release on Friday.

He discussed his experience at the launch event with Orna Merchant on his Rylan on Saturday Radio 2 show. He said: “I did a launch this week for my show and we were in a cinema, seeing my teeth that big on a screen, it was frightful.” Orna replied: “Your teeth are lovely.

” Rylan added: “In real life they are. But 4K, 400m tall, absolutely not, I thought I was watching Jaws.” Rylan is understood to have spent around £25,000 on his porcelain veneers in 2013, before he began presenting Big Brother ’s Bit on the Side.

He has previously described the decision as the “best and worst” decision of his life. Speaking to the Daily Star, he said: "These teeth were the best and worst decision of my life. For the first three months of Big Brother, I was a terrible TV presenter, but everyone was just talking about my teeth.

"By the time they'd stopped talking about my teeth, I was good at my job. Literally, I lear.
