Ryanair has updated its pricing for passengers looking to bring a larger cabin bag aboard, with immediate changes in their policy. At present, those wishing to travel with a 10kg suitcase must pay extra for Priority boarding. Alternatively, travellers can carry on just a small personal bag that measures no more than 40x20x25cm without any additional cost, as this is already included within the ticket price.

The charge for upgrading to Priority, which comprises both a small personal bag and a 10kg suitcase up to the dimensions of 55x40x20cm, swings from £6 to £36 if selected during the original flight booking process. For those who opt to enhance their ticket to include Priority at a later stage or directly at the airport, Ryanair now applies higher charges. Whereas previously, according to Ryanair's website, fees ranged from £20 to £38, these have now been revised to between £20 and £60.
