Ryanair has amended its cabin bag fee structure for those looking to fly with a larger carry-on bag. Those travelling with the budget airline must pay extra for priority boarding if they want to bring a 10kg suitcase on board. Currently, holidaymakers are only allowed to bring a small personal bag measuring up to 40x20x25cm on board for free.

The cost to upgrade to priority, which includes a small personal bag and a 10kg suitcase measuring up to 55x40x20cm, varies, but it will cost between £6 and £36 when added to the original booking. Passengers who opt to upgrade to priority at a later stage will incur a heftier charge. It previously cost between £20 and £28, although this has been recently updated to between £20 and £60, as Birmingham Live reports.
