Deadpool and Wolverine: Hugh Jackman stars in Marvel trailer Ryan Reynolds is currently doing his day job as a movie star promoting his latest movie Deadpool and Wolverine. His beloved Wrexham FC is never far from his thoughts though and he gave them a special nod in the big-screen superhero blockbuster. The eagerly awaited flick sees him team up with real-life friend Hugh Jackman who reprises his role as Wolverine.

With cameos and easter eggs galore, it is a superhero geek's dream. But one scene is somewhat stolen by Wrexham as Ryan, who was a co-writer on the movie, utilises Marvel's multiverse concept to introduce other versions of Deadpool - including a Wrexham Deadpool. While the character doesn't say anything the camera lingers on the Wrexham emblem on his chest in a close-up up ensuring that viewers get the reference.

The multiverse is the hypothetical set of all universes. Together, these universes are presumed to comprise everything that exists in multiple versions allowing numerous Deadpools to exist. Alongside the Wrexham version, we also meet Lady Deadpool who was teased in the trailer.
