Ruth Langsford has enjoyed spending time with the dog she shares with ex Eamonn Holmes as he holidays with his new girlfriend. The Loose Women presenter, 64, took her dog Maggie on a sunny Sunday walk as her ex was seen heading on a luxury holiday with his glam girlfriend. Eamonn, also 64, and Ruth announced their split back in May as the GB News host has since moved on with Katie Alexander, 42.

The new couple are enjoying a late summer holiday together , having been seen boarding a cruise in Barcelona. Ruth has remained in the UK and is taking care of the former couple's beloved dog. The exes have been locked in a custody battle over the pooch since their split.

Maggie, who is 14-years-old, recently had a procedure at the vet to remove a growth as Ruth has been providing health updates to her followers. While Eamonn jetted abroad, Ruth shared a snap from her stroll with Maggie. She caught the pup walking along a pavement happily in the sunshine.

Ruth said: "Enjoying the sunshine while we can!" Later on in the day, Ruth shared a photo of Maggie sat on a sofa alongside her mum. Ruth's mum fed Maggie biscuits as they sat side by side. The presenter wrote: "Treats time with Grandma!" Fans had started to question who was looking after Maggie following Eamonn and Ruth's split.

They had noticed an absence of the dog on Eamonn's account. Back in July, Ruth shared a video of Maggie with a shaved back after having an operation. She later shared a sweet photo of the pup to her follower.
