So as the newly elected leader of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party, I’m going to make a promise to keep my promises. And you can hold me to that.
Some readers may already be rolling their eyes and grumbling about the integrity of the political classes. Research shows that six out of ten people in the UK would ‘almost never’ trust politicians of any party to tell the truth when they’re in a tight corner. New leader of the Scottish Tories Russell Findlay is determined to make a positive change in the way many voters see politicians I’ve met many cynical people who delight in voicing their disdain.
