Three sets of luxury countryside homes are the finalists in the Medium Residential Scheme of the Year category at the 2024 ProCon Leicestershire property and construction awards. Two developments in Rutland and one in Leicestershire are in the running in this category which is sponsored by Lovell Partnerships and is one of six in this year's 21st ProCon Leicestershire Awards. Chater Valley View is a development of three luxury homes on the edge of the Rutland village of North Luffenham.

Constructed with beautiful and local Lincolnshire limestone, each of the three new five bedroom homes are differentiated through design elements but are united in their use of the highest-quality materials and craftsmanship. Kaybee Developments envisaged the scheme as a sympathetic development of three impressive homes, each with their own individualities which enhanced their setting. The Elms is a development of four contemporary, barn-style homes with rural views in the Leicestershire village of Newton Harcourt.

The developer's plans originally specified infill timber panels for a steel frame build. The timber sub-contractor suggested replacing the building's steel frame with timber for a greener, more sustainable project. The alternatively engineered solution used high-performance, low-carbon materials, offering thermal efficiency and cost benefits and eliminated the need for much of the steel and concrete.
