A Welsh rugby player and three other men have been found not guilty of robbing luxury watches. Luke Davies, the 22-year-old Ospreys' scrum-half, Adam Thomas, Jake Ball and Jordan Ball had all denied the robbery of four watches worth £1,800 from an address in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, on Christmas Eve 2021. Ieuan Rhys, prosecuting, said the matter had been reviewed, and it would formally offer no evidence against the defendants.
Judge Geraint Walters directed verdicts of not guilty for the four men and said they were free to go..
