Maura Derrane has shared a sweet snap of her rarely seen son Cal as he went back to school this week. The RTE star's son hit a milestone as he started fourth class. Maura took to Instagram to share an adorable selfie of both of them smiling as she sent him off to school.

" Maura doesn't often share photos of her son Cal, who she shares with husband John Deasy. She has admitted that having Cal at the age of 44 attracted some "hilarious" comments. "It was almost like I was the first person ever to be having a child at the age of 44," the RTE broadcaster said.
