The Olympics are underway in Paris, France and there are plenty of royals excited to be attending this year. From Denmark's king Frederik and Queen Mary, to Spain's King Felipe and Queen Letizia, and even former Olympic competitor Princess Anne of Great Britain.  Denmark's King Frederik X and Queen Mary arrived in Paris to meet with IOC President Thomas Bach and his wife Claudia Bach ahead of the opening ceremony for The Olympics. Kign Frederik opted for a navy suit and matching tie for the meeting, which happened to coordinate with Claudia Bach's navy frock. His Australian-born queen wore a striking red MaxMara jumpsuit for the occasion, which usually retails for $2,545 AUD and perfectly matched the shade of one of the Olympic rings which were positioned behind her.

But it was her jewellery that stole the show. Mary was dripping in chic gold jewellery for the occasion, including stacks of bangles on both wrists that totalled more than $76,000 She wore a Dulong Fine Jewellery 'Glory' Diamonds Tennis Bracelet, which retails from €11,010 (approx. $18,267), as well as an Esme Bracelet with Diamonds in Gold from the same brand, which goes for €4,020 (approx.

$6,670). The Danish Queen also sported an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen Love Band 18k Gold with Diamonds Bangle which starts at $US33,500 (approx. $51,232).

The foursome were all smiles as they exchanged greetings and kisses on the cheek outside.
