From the day he was born Prince George ‘s future was mapped out for him. As Prince William ‘s first child, he is the next in line after his father in the line of succession to become Britain’s monarch. When Prince George was told he would be king one day Royal biographer Robert Lacey said that Prince William had that very important talk with George in July 2020, right around his 7th birthday as he didn’t want his son to find out like he did from other children at school. Express noted that Lacey revealed the conversation was held at a “controlled moment of their choice” and was “reflecting William’s unhappiness at the haphazard fashion in which the whole business of his royal destiny had buzzed around his head from the start.” However, Amaia Arrieta — whose clothes have been worn by George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — believes Prince George knew even before that.
