Menendez brothers' elderly relatives have 'last chance' to reunite as they hope for release Sharon Osbourne says the Menendez brothers should remain in prison: 'They killed their parents' Chelsea told the Daily Mail : "My mother is more interested in getting the Menendez brothers released from prison than getting me out." In a recent interview with Variety, Rosie claimed that after appearing on Larry King Live! 30 years ago, she received a letter from Lyle, 56. However, Barbara Walters, Rosie's former co-host on The View, cautioned her against endorsing the siblings at that time.

Rosie said: "I was out to lunch with Barbara Walters and our publicist Cindy Berger, and I said, 'Barbara, you’re not going to believe this, but guess who wrote to me — Lyle Menende.
