A skimpy with the mouth of a tradie says she would keep doing the job even if it didn’t come with such a large paycheck. Rosie Clarke is back in Kalgoorlie-Boulder pubs after a short hiatus that saw her travelling across the State to work as a “loud-mouthed” skimpy. Now, back in the town that started it all for her, Rosie said she was feeling right at home working at The Rec Boulder with Gold Class Girls.
“I just love this job so much, I have to pinch myself every day that this is what I get to do for work,” she said. “There is nothing in this world that would make me give it up. “I could meet the love of my life and this job would still come first.
“I would do this for the same wage as a bartender, it just wouldn’t be very cost-effective because of how expensive my lingerie is and how many layers of fake tan I wear but I would still do it. “I just love getting dressed up ..
. and chatting to everyone and making sure they’re having a good day.” Four years ago, during COVID, Rosie moved to Kalgoorlie-Boulder in search of a skimpy job.
Unsure of how it all worked, she hit the streets with her resume in hand and went pub to pub asking for work, and letting them know she would be happy to do it in her lingerie. “I thought there was a big house they all lived in and everyone had a certain pub they worked in,” she said. “I didn’t realise you had agencies that you worked through and you could work in multiple pubs, it was all a bit of a shock.
