BBC's flagship programme The One Show sparked outrage amongst viewers when Roman Kemp interviewed his famous parents Shirlie and Martin, causing upset with accusations of nepotism similar to the ruckus created when Ed Balls chatted with his wife Yvette Cooper on ITVs Good Morning Britain. Presenting beside Clara Amfo, Roman Kemp found himself in hot water for the family chat including Scissor Sisters' star Jake Shears, which quickly sent fans to social media to air their grievances after watching Thursday night's (October 31) episode. Audiences were left fuming while sharing their vexations online, with one viewer commenting: "Feel like #TheOneShow should get the same Ofcom complaints #GMB did with Roman interviewing his parents.

.. like Ed interviewing his wife.

.. the nepotism is real.

" Another expressed distaste quipping, "Nepo Baby gets to interview parents. Wow, great television." Additionally, a disgruntled spectator remarked: "All we're missing is Gary and we've got the full set of Kemps.

Jesus. This is just wrong." Meanwhile, another chimed in: "Tonight on #TheOneShow, nepo kid Roman Kemp interviews his parents Martin and Shirlie at his workplace," reports Wales Online .

And reprising the sentiment, someone added: "@BBCTheOneShow, what's this tonight, 'Bring Your Parents To Work' Day." But some didn't mind seeing the stars on screen, with one writing:"3 members of the same family on the #bbctheoneshow & what a great family!" Last month witnessed ITV's chief, Dame Caroly.
