An age rating listing for the classic Bully has appeared in Taiwan, but there’s confusion as to whether that means a new version of the game or not. Rockstar’s Bully will be two decades old soon and barely a year has gone by, since its original release, that there hasn’t been rumours about a remaster, remake, or sequel. Nothing has ever happened though, obviously, and Rockstar Game s has rarely ever made any reference to it, but the game has been listed again by the Taiwanese age rating board.

That normally happens if a new game is being released, and implies it will come out soon, but so far there’s been no official announcement. The listing was published this month and states the game is for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, with no mention of the Nintendo Switch. There’s also new up-to-date age ratings for the Xbox 360 (for some reason) and PC versions.

Although a remaster is not out of the question, unfortunately in these cases it’s almost always the boring answer that’s the right one and this is probably something to do with the GTA+ subscription service, which recently added Bully to its list of games. Why the new age ratings would come after, rather than before, its addition is not clear but otherwise there’s been no indication that a remaster is the one way. It is Gamescom this week, but Rockstar Games never usually have any involvement in such events, although they could make an exception for a lower profile title like B.
