More than 200 people have been confirmed dead after flash floods devastated Valencia last week. It is feared that the eventual death toll will be much higher as many people are still missing. On Monday, the Spanish weather service issued a red alert for parts of Catalonia due to more flash flooding and further forecasts of torrential rain.
Barcelona's main airport has cancelled or delayed more than 80 flights, while train services have been suspended.
