The article followed members of the group such as Lowe, 60, Emilio Estevez, Demi Moore , Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy on a night out partying in New York City . Nearly four decades later, Lowe is opening up about the moniker and the article itself, which he said was, 'horrible.
