Rob Lowe is reminiscing about the past. The Parks and Recreation alum admitted that he and Demi Moore —who starred alongside him in the 1985 film St. Elmo's Fire —had a fling while members of the the Brat Pack in the 1980s.
"Demi and I briefly," Rob began on the Oct. 22 episode of Kelly Ripa 's Let's Talk Off Camera podcast , "I'm not telling tales out of school—we briefly had a thing." But the 60-year-old noted that their romance didn't last, with Demi going on to get engaged to their fellow Brat Packer Emilio Estevez in 1985 before calling it quits the following year and ultimately marrying Bruce Willis in 1987.
(The couple divorced in 2000 and share daughters Rumer Willis , 36, Scout Willis , 33, and Tallulah Willis , 30.) Through it all, Rob insisted that he and Demi have managed to maintain a strong friendship. As for how Rob feels about their fling now? He wasn't surprised by any of the trysts that happened during his Brat Pack days.
"Look, anytime you put young, 20-something men and women together," he explained, "hookups are inevitable. And I don't think that has changed."
