No matter where you put him, Rob Gronkowski always seems to have a good time. Before joining the New England Patriots in 2010, Gronkowski starred at the University of Arizona, where he played alongside his brother Chris. When the two Gronks weren't tearing things up on the gridiron, they were busy spending what little money they had on the types of luxuries tailor-made for college students.

In a recent episode of his "Dudes on Dudes" podcast with former Patriots teammate Julian Edelman, Gronkowski revealed that he drained his bank account early in his college career in order to splurge on one particular item. Elsa/Getty Images "I had no money in college because my brother and I, we put all our money together that was left in our back account and we bought a hot tub the first three weeks we were at the University of Arizona," Gronkowski said . "Literally, we drained our bank accounts.

They were at $0. All I needed was $15 a week and I was satisfied. It got the job done.

" Asked by Edelman what exactly he could get for $15 a week, Gronkowski said it "got me a 30-pack and it got me lunch." "That's all I needed," said the four-time Super Bowl champion. View the original article to see embedded media.

This is essentially the perfect Gronk story. Can you imagine the partying these guys did in their hot tub? Gronkowski played at Arizona from 2007-09, though he missed the entire 2009 season following back surgery. He went on to play for the Patriots from 2010-18 and the Tampa Bay Bucc.
