The upcoming season 2 of Rings of Power has released a new trailer, showcasing the menacing rise of Sauron. The Prime Video series, set millennia before the events of the beloved Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films, delves into the creation of the Rings of Power, an alliance between Elves and Men, and the ascension of the Dark Lord Sauron. Unveiled at San Diego Comic Con on Friday (July 26), the latest trailer centres on the dreaded return of the legendary villain Sauron, signalling the resurgence of darkness and evil in Middle-earth after years of hard-won peace across its realms.
The trailer also spotlights the forging of more of the eponymous Rings of Power, crafted with the help of Sauron's powers of deceit and manipulation.
