The Beatles’ drummer Ringo Starr has confirmed that Oscar-nominated actor Barry Keoghan will be playing him in the new set of films, which will explore the lives of each member of the world-renowned rock group’s perspective. The English musician, songwriter and actor, whose real name is Sir Richard Starkey, is part of the world-renowned rock band with John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison. Widely regarded as the most influential band of all time, the “Here Comes the Sun” hitmakers were integral to developing 1960s counter-culture and recognising pop music as an art form.
