Rex Orange County is finally heading out on a North American tour. The singer will begin his “FINALLY: A Theatre Tour” on Oct. 4 in Chicago and will wrap up the North American leg on Nov.
26 in Vancouver, BC . While on tour, Rex Orange County will perform three shows at the Beacon Theatre in New York City on Oct. 11-13 .
The tour will be in support of his latest album “The Alexander Technique,” which is set to release on Sept. 6. Rex Orange County has opted to perform in smaller, more intimate venues rather than large arenas this time around.
“Historically with each album that I’ve released, I’ve always played bigger and bigger shows. But I wanted to do something different for this particular project because sonically the new songs lend themselves to being heard in a more intimate and traditional setting,” Rex Orange County said in a statement. “I love playing live and I can’t wait to bring this new album to life across so many beautiful rooms and iconic stages.
