The Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton ) shared some happy news with royal fans recently when she announced in a video message that her chemotherapy is complete and she is “cancer-free.” The news came on Sept. 9, nearly six months after the princess first revealed her diagnosis and that she was receiving treatment.

“I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” Prince William’s wife said, adding, “Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.” Now, in her first outing since her health update, an expert noticed that Kate was trying to send her fans another message—this time without saying a word.
