The double Wimbledon champion, 37, called time on his sporting career after an emotional send off at the Olympics in Paris last Thursday. Prior to the Games starting, Murray announced that he would retire from the sport upon the completion of the event at Paris 2024.

And the tennis legend cut an emotional figure as he waved to fans after he and his Team GB partner Dan Evans were beaten in straight sets by USA duo Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul in the doubles quarter-final. But the father-of-four shows no sign of putting his feet up as he continues to seek out improvements and changes at his Cromlix House venue, which is set in acres of secluded Stirlingshire countryside near Dunblane, where he grew up in Scotland. Double Olympic gold medallist Murray and his wife Kim have lodged plans with Stirling Council for further improvements to be carried out at the hotel.
