Big names from the international comedy scene will arrive in Cyprus this year to perform stand-up shows for local audiences. Besides the growing Cypriot comedy scene, a handful of renowned comedians from around the globe have scheduled 2025 performances on the island as they embark on world and European tours. And of course, these are all in English! Coming up first is British star comedian Jimmy Carr who is set to perform in Nicosia in just a few days.

Presenting his brand-new show Jimmy Carr – Laughs Funny , the performance at Eleftheria Sports Arena will include new material, fearless jokes in true Carr fashion and audience interaction. Surprisingly, the event is not fully booked yet and a few tickets remain on www.more.

com . Towards the end of January, Romanian comedian Victor Patrascan will present a show he calls Stand Up Comedy in Broken English. Touring Paphos, Limassol and Nicosia, he will spread his jokes and questions on controversial topics across the three Cypriot towns.

Welcoming locals, expats, migrants and beyond, this show he says invites everyone for a laugh – just not the easily offended. First up, he will entertain Paphos audiences on January 23 at Attikon Pafos by K Cineplex, then Limassol crowds on the following evening with a show at Lanitio Theatre and finally in Nicosia on January 25 at Pantheon Theatre.
