Indian actresses Alia Bhatt and Aishwarya Rai were both seen with some of the biggest stars from around the world as they walked the ramp at the Paris Fashion Week for personal care company L’Oreal. Later, on Instagram, Bhatt shared a number of photographs from the event. Soon, many followers quickly noticed someone missing from the pictures though: Aishwarya Rai.

Fans of the senior actor accused Bhatt of ‘cropping’ her out. Then, on Reddit, a post about the same started to go viral. A post shared by Alia Bhatt 💛 (@aliaabhatt) On Tuesday (24 September 2024), Bhatt shared pictures from the L’Oreal Paris Runway on her Instagram.

The carousel post includes her solo shots from the runway, and long shots of her with international stars like Kendal Jenner. However, Aishwarya Rai, who also walked the ramp, wasn’t part of the group photo. In fact, some fans pointed out that Rai’s dress’ sleeve was visible on the left side of the picture, which meant she had been cropped out.

The pictures soon went viral as Rai’s fans accused Bhatt of deliberately cropping her out. One user wrote, “This shows jealousy,” while another said, “She doesn’t want to share the spotlight.” However, on Wednesday (25 September 2024), some Reddit users re-shared Bhatt’s original post, pointing out that the images were by Getty, a global photo agency, and the cropping was done by them; not Bhatt.
