The Packed to the Rafters star, 59, took to Instagram recently to inform her followers that her mother is recovering in hospital after a fall. Rebecca posted a picture of her mother laying in a hospital bed giving a smile and a thumbs up.

Alongside the image, the New Zealand-born actress wrote that she had asked her mother's permission to share the photo. 'Mum has said it's ok to post this pic as she said it looks way worse than it is but she did have a wee fall and is in hospital again for a little while. Nothing broken but a few cracks and bruising,' Rebecca said.
