With Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) having recently and the pair finally seen reconciling following months of not seeing eye to eye, as well as Jason now paying for Jake's education, many are wondering why Jake would be choosing to leave town.

As of yet, neither Hudson or General Hospital have confirmed that he will be leaving, however, his IMDB page does show that he is currently signed up to three projects that could mean he needs time away from the soap. Hudson is signed on to star in a thriller titled The Arborist, and is billed as playing a Young Butch in Butch Cassidy’s upcoming Forgotten Outlaw movie. He is also slated as working on anthology television series Like It Was Yesterday, for the role of Young Cole. Fans of General Hospital have been sharing videos of scenes starring both Jake and Jason on X, with Hudson sharing the touching tributes on his own social media.
